RAKHI AND INDEPENDENCE DAY
RAKHI
AND INDEPENDENCE DAY
Rakhi- also known as Rakshabandhan is Celebrated on the
full-moon day of the Hindu month of Sravana this festival celebrates the love
of a brother for his sister. ... Raksha means protection, and in some places in
medieval India, where women felt unsafe, they tie Rakhi on the wrist
of men, regarding them as brothers. Now it is a tradition to tie a rakhi
to your brother. My mother also ties a rakhi to her father. To me rakhi is a
day of happiness and cheerfulness. This year rakhi falls on 3rd
august.
How to make your own rakhi-
Materials required:
1.
String
2.

paper into a shape you like.

on it (with glue, of course!)
And then decorate the
rakhi. U can use pens or glitter.

Independence day:
Independence day falls
on 15th august. This day is to celebrate the independence of india. IN
2020 WE COMPLETE 73 YEARS OF FREEDOM. This day for me is to celebrate not only
the independence but also to celebrate the people who have worked hard for the
independence.
